Because our dogs are considered beloved members of our family and every family member should be loved and adores, we have created our Guardian Home program. This allows us to grow our breeding program while still providing each of our breeding dogs with a loving environment in a Guardian family. We refuse to have our dogs live in a kennel environment. We believe that happy, loved dogs will produce amazing offspring. We breed for temperament, heath, and physical attributes.  Living in a loving home is essential for our breeding dogs to produce top quality puppies.

 

A Guardian home is not a foster situation. A Guardian cares for the dog as if it were its' own until such a time as the dog is done breeding and the dog is officially signed over to the Guardians as the new Owners. We work closely with our Guardian families to make sure the dog is always getting the best care, food, and socialization possible. It is a team effort between Magnolia Prairie Doodles and our Guardian families. Most of our Guardian homes are families with children, families who are already familiar with small breeds and have a proven track record for caring for their dogs with love. A few are middle aged couples or seniors.  All our Guardian families lavish their dogs with love and attention!
